The proposed experience

The Kahnawà:ke Tourism Welcome Center, located in the heart of Kahnawà:ke, a mohawk community 10 minutes from downtown Montreal. Experience Kahnawà:ke’s vivid culture with a guided tour of the town, or plan your entire visit with us. The Welcome Center should be your first stop when visiting. Stop by for a free map and tourism guide of Kahnawà:ke and we will let you know where to go and what’s happening! With over 250 businesses in the community, including the bed & breakfasts, hotel, several restaurants, marina, shops, there are plenty of opportunities for every visitor. Come visit the Shrine of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha and the historical St.-Francis-Xavier mission located just 10 minutes from downtown Montréal, where we can see her sacred tomb. Browse through the gift shop and explore the museum with its many historical treasures and gifts of France from the 17th to the 20th century. Guided tours daily & available upon reservation, walk-ins welcome.
